The Great Escape
Sophie had colleagues from hell who made her job stressful. Some wound her up with complaints, others were rude, but Peter was the worst. He always made excuses and pretended to break down in meetings, yet he always got away with it.
One morning, Peter broke in through a window after forgetting his keys. No one noticed.
Sophie was getting down from all the negativity. She had put up with it for months but had enough. She never got on with Peter and decided to break up with the company.
She told her manager, “I can’t stay. It’s too stressful.” Her manager understood.
Sophie packed up and left. As she stepped outside, she felt free. That night, she went out with friends and laughed. Breaking out felt amazing.
